GCSU new Smoking Policy...
…is not in effect! As of August 1, lighted tobacco products are only allowed in designated smoking areas. More about the policy and a map of the designated areas can be found at: www.gcsu.edu/smokingareas
A smoking cessation program will begin Tuesday, August 31 at 5:15 p.m. If you’re not 100% sure you want to tackle quitting smoking right now, at least come to the info meeting on Tuesday, August 24 at 5:15 p.m. to learn more about the Freedom From Smoking program. You can register online for the info meeting at http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dFFHTWxpRDRQYkZHXzl4VXpTWGhHdFE6MQ
There are no obligations, contracts, or commitments for attending the info meeting. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you choose to participate in the program itself, all fees are waived for GCSU students, faculty, and staff. Outside community members will only have to pay a small fee of $20.
Again, no obligations for coming to the info meeting! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
See you at the Info Meeting Tuesday, August 24 at 5:15 p.m. in 211 Health Sciences Building at GCSU!
